Directions: Write an in-depth and detailed analytical essay based on Reel Bad Arabs. Use Aladdin to further support your points, discussing the authors point of view and the effectiveness of their ability to be persuasive. You can find  additional academic information by going to the University of Ottawa Library. Type in key words (arab representation in media, for example). On the left side apply open resource filter.

You need to have an introduction.  In your introduction, bold your thesis statement. Your essay should have body paragraphs and a conclusion. You should have 750-1000 words.

The essay should touch on main ideas and concepts we have discussed (Stereotype, Bias, Representation). How do these concepts relate to the films? Think about what the purpose and goal the film was trying to achieve. What is the film trying to make the audience think, feel, or do?
