CONSUMER BEHAVIOR

Three factors that impact consumer behavior are psychological, personal, and social. As corporations attempt to “connect” with consumers, the importance of communicating values and responsible behavior is becoming increasingly important. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an attempt by a company to demonstrate to consumers that it is “doing the right thing.” You may choose a large company like Tom’s Shoes, FEED Projects, Macy’s, or Timberland. You may also research a small or local company that demonstrates good CSR or even your present employer.

Create an Initial Post that includes:

Name of the company
Summary of the policy or activity, including how it established a personal, psychological, or social connection with consumers
How this policy or activity helps distinguish the company from competitors
