Take two poems about youth and age (from Youth Poem, Youth Poems, Gus the Theatre Cat–which is from the Cats musical–Prufrock) and write a compare and contrast essay considering them on a few points. A decent thesis would be as follows: 

Gus the Theatre Cat and J. Alfred Prufrock each feel old. but the point of view, tone, and imagery cast Gus as satisfied and Prufrock overwhelmingly not, for a far more tragic poem.

At least 2 pages, long enough to do a strong analysis
