Surveillance of individuals, groups, or organizations that are involved in terrorist activities that could potentially do harm to America and its citizens is a necessary tool. Some of the tools that the government uses are the U.S.A. Patriot Act, the National Security Agency Surveillance Program, and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
Discuss your thoughts on each of these tools and how effective you think they are in the war against terrorism. In addition, also discuss your thoughts on the constitutionality of these tools and whether or not you think they overstep any boundaries in regard to those who are surveilled and the reason for that surveillance.
Your paper should be written in proper APA format, double-spaced, with 12-point font, and include a minimum of three references. Sources can be from any relevant material.
