While this is one of the most valuable exercises that we are doing, it is at the same time one of the easiest.Making a Net Worth Report with the information we have in our file is very simple.Depending on the computer platform you are using and the version of Quicken you are using, simply do the following: Macintosh Go under the Reports menu and choose Net Worth Over Time You can customize (such as date range) if you want, and including or excluding items That’s it! It really is that simple. If you wish, change the name of the report. If you wish, you can save the report. You should do that for the purpose of this assign- ment. Give it any name you like. It will now appear in the Reports list.
Windows Go to Reports and choose Net Worth It should be simple then to conclude the exercise and you can get ideas of what to do by looking at the Macintosh instructions above. Please keep in mind that next week you will be submitting your Quicken file to me to review and grade. So make sure any information you put in this one you will submit to me will not be the one with your real information in it. And, if you have left any of the Assignments out, it is neces-sary that you get those caught up now, before next week.Do not send the file until you read the instructions for doing so in next week’s material.Again, feel free to contact me with any questions. In Class Week 13, we will learn how to export our information which will also be the basis for transmitting it for grading. There will be no Quicken Assignment for Class Session 14. That will be the final week of the Semester. The Quicken work can be submitted during that Week, but there will be a penalty of points, depending on how many days into that Week the project was submitted. It will be late then, since it is due at the end of Class Week 13. But some points are better than no points.Michael R. Hughesmichaelhughes@amridgeuniversity.edu870-739-3784 (my home phone)
